In this class, students will connect with their Manitou community and history through a unique artistic process. Students will use recycled materials such as cardboard, milk cartons, and paper towel rolls to build their own building (maybe the arcade, the Rockey Museum, the Library, the MAC) that represents themselves. The group will place their building in a figurative town. Please bring your own materials to aid in the process. The finished project may be taken home afterward.

A unique experience that reconnects the student with themselves and those around them. As well as to develop a diverse set of art skills.

Students will need to wear art-friendly clothes.

Park for free in the parking lot and on the MAC side of Manitou Ave.

Who is this class for? Middle schoolers to Adults (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult)
