This class teaches students how to use the Lulzbot Tz 5 3d printer that is a part of the design lab here at the Manitou Art Center. The class is primarily aimed at students who wish to print objects that are larger than the Lulzbot Mini's print volume of 6 in x 6 in x 6.2 in, or for prints that take longer than 4 hours to complete. As a part of the class, students will learn the basics of 3d printing, how the Lulzbot Tz 5 works, and how to use the Cure software to print free objects from the internet.
Certification class for MAC members only.
You will know how to operate the 3d printer and know the rules of the Design Lab.
