This is an adult and child class, much like a mommy and me, but open to all grown ups who want to learn how to sew with their child, or niece or nephew or neighbor. Children must be 6 years or older to attend.
The class is a beginning sewing project that results in 1 ready-to-use pillowcase for each participant. It introduces participants to sewing on the machine and teaches simple straight sewing. A take-home sheet will help you continue to make pillowcases at home from the fabric you prefer.

Catherine has been sewing since about 1958. She expanded her skill through 4-H in junior high and high school. She is a retired public school teacher and often taught sewing in her classrooms. She loves teaching anything people want to learn, and is now enjoying sewing with her young grandsons.
