Learn the essential techniques and practices for a broad array of animation styles in this 10-week course open to students ages 12 and up! (Younger students can be discussed with exception and parental supervision) Stop-motion, paper cut-out, LEGO, traditional hand-drawn and Claymation. *Digital animation will be discussed, but will not be instructed in this class.
Classes will be hybrid lessons and project time with instructional assistance. Create your own animations throughout the length of the course. All projects will premiere at the class finale presentation event. Students will, of course, get copies of their projects.
Enrollment covers the class tuition only. Simple software, as well as animation materials, depending on the medium chosen, will be the student's financial responsibility. Materials are simple such as clay, paper and Legos, but if you so desire you can utilize more costly armatures/etc. Students should have their own laptop or newer model iPhone/Android/etc.
$40 per class, with the option to purchase the entire class (10 weeks) at a discount price of $360.
