  • Iris folding is a simple paper-folding technique which originated in Holland. Color-coordinated strips of folded paper are taped into place over a pattern, creating a spiraling design that resembles the iris of an eye or camera. You can use this craft technique to create cards or the finished project can simply be framed and hung. In this class students will make two unique designs. All materials will be supplied. Feel free to bring some of your own solid or patterned paper (scrapbook, wrapping paper) in your favorite themes and colors.

Open to all ages over 10. Must be able to cut strips of paper with scissors and use tape. All children must be accompanied by a participating adult who will need to use an exacto knife. No more than 2 children per adult.
