Jeans Revival: Repairing (bring appropriate sized zipper if that’s your issue), enhancing, decorating, and embroidering a favorite pair of your jeans or jeans skirt.
Skillset: working with denim, fabric manipulation, using your utility stitches, using fusible products, adjusting your machine for a different kind of fabric or thread.
Supplies: BYOJ!!! Possible add-ons: Replacement back pocket! ‘Cargo’ phone pocket? Patches? Pom-poms? Rickrack? Fabric paints! Antique doilies, fabric bags from food products (rice, grits, etc.), perle cotton, and/or embroidered fabrics?
Sew What?! classes are designed to add new sewing experiences to your skill set, not to teach you to sew. Please attend one of the monthly Sewing Certification class sessions to begin your sewing adventures. If you prefer to bring your own machine from home for use in the class, feel free, but please bring along your manual.
