In this introductory twice-weekly, 4-week course, we will explore the fundamentals of making pottery. Centering, throwing, trimming, and glazing will be the core focus of this class, with an emphasis on learning how to create the fundamental forms, bowls and cylinders. Other techniques will be learned, such as making handles for mugs and creating surface textures, depending on the interest of students. Classes are now 50% off thanks to funding provided by the Manitou Arts, Culture and Heritage board. This offer will last while funds from the MACH board are available.
