Welding & Tools Certification for Members

NB: registrants MUST wear jeans (long pants, not polyester)  and closed-toe shoes

Learning Outcome:  This certification class will provide you with the instruction to enable you to independently use the MIG welders and metal shop tools at the MAC.

Who is this class for? Age 18+ only but parents may attend this class, get certified, and then independently teach their own children. Under 18s must be supervised in the welding area at all times.

Class Description

You will learn:

• Required safety equipment - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Set up the MIG welder
• Correct usage of the MIG welder
• Expectation for clean up of the metal shop after use
