Manitou Art Center

Hart & Horn is a one-woman shop that specialized in handmade fashion accessories and metaphysical products. It started during the pandemic when I combined my two previous businesses, Fogg Couture and Queen Mab's Store. Fogg Couture was more of my fashion line. I was doing couture getting ready for Denver Fashion Week when the lockdown happened. For Queen Mab's Store, I was making witch and wizard hats for the Renaissance Festival which was also closed down. During the pandemic a lot of friends reached out wanting me to teach them witchcraft and it was time to start my dream witchy business. I have been practicing witchcraft for 25+years and I absolutely love sharing it with people. It is an incredibly empowering practice, especially for marginalized communities. It's getting harder and harder finding handmade products that aren't Spirit Halloween knockoffs and I take a lot of pride in being able to provide quality products for others in search of a different path.

My dream ever since I was a little girl was to have a witch shop in Manitou. I was born and raised just on the westside and came to Manitou frequently as a family. I moved here as quickly as I could. I absolutely have loved my time at the Manitou Art Center (I'm one of the studio artists). My business has grown enough that my studio cannot accommodate retail space and work space at the same time anytime. Most of my business has been traveling around the country doing expos and I would love to transition more into my own little witch shop in my hometown.
