Create Your Own Amigurumi Cat!
Join us for a relaxing and creative 2-hour class where you’ll learn to crochet an adorable amigurumi cat toy! You can use a single color—like gray, orange, or white—or add a second color for stripes if you’d like. Whether you’re brand new to crochet or have some experience, this class is for you!
What you’ll learn: Natalia will guide you step-by-step and introduce you to intuitive crochet—a flexible approach that uses increases and decreases to help you shape your toy exactly the way you want. You’ll leave class with your very own handmade cat and the skills to create many more!
Ages: 12 and up No prior experience required (but helpful!)
Materials kit available from the instructor for $15 OR bring your own:
* Medium-weight yarn (recommended colors: gray, orange, or white) Note: Dark colors like black or brown are not recommended as they make the stitches harder to see.
* A crochet hook smaller than the label recommends (e.g., if the yarn suggests a 5 mm hook, bring a 4 mm or 3.5 mm) Tip: Choose a hook with a pointy tip rather than a dull or rounded one
* 8 mm or smaller plastic safety eyes
* Polyester fiberfill (Poly-Fil) or other stuffing
* A ribbon for a bow or collar
