Creating light through the white of the paper
Transparent and opaque painting techniques
Masking methods for clean edges
Warm and cool color theory
Layering color to create depth and movement

Introduction and watercolor demonstration
Guided practice with water, pigment, and brush techniques
Warm and cool color exercise
Creation of an individual watercolor painting
Group reflection and helpful instructor feedback
Outcome: Each participant will leave with a completed painting, practical watercolor skills, and greater confidence to continue creating independently.
